Studio Protocol

The hot room is a meditative and sacred space… so is your mat! Try to refrain from walking on other yogis mats or wearing shoes into the hot room.

Curb loud conversation before class to allow others to become centered before practice. We do our best to start on time, please let us know if you’re running late so we can leave the door unlocked.

If you decide not to come to a class you registered for (it happens!) please cancel your registration to allow space for others to register.

Wondering what to bring? Typically yogis show up with their own mat, towel, and water bottle. Rental mats and yoga blocks are available in studio.

Wondering what to wear? Something comfortable that you can move in - remember it gets hot.

Listen to your body during practice- there’s no ego in the hot room and the safest competition is with yourself. It’s always best to come on an empty stomach, the recommendation being no food 1-2 hours before practice.

If you become overheated during class, please lie down, drink water and do what you need to do to stay in the room. If you leave the room, the instructor can’t see you or assist you if you need help. Reminder- sweat is the body’s AC system and letting the sweat stay on the skin is the best way to stay cool. Always stay hydrated, drink before class, during practice, and after.

After practice, please wipe down any borrowed mats and put props away in the sanitizing basket in the lobby.

Thank you for sharing your practice with us.
We can’t wait to see you on the mat!
